We're ordering it from Extreme Restraints - see the sidebar for a link - and it should be with us by a week tomorrow. The plan is to take a whole day, let brat dress up all pretty or stylish then give her as much pain & pleasure as I can, then while she's floating on whatever plateau of submission she reaches, put her on her knees and screw the collar on. Then it doesn't come off - apart from special circumstances, like Hospital or Professional concerns.
It's gonna be such a thrill, walking around with my collared slave on my arm (or lead)!

Well, Master and any good hardware store. It locks with a hex key screw.

That is a truly beautiful collar... I'm envious. That's what we wanted once, too, one that locks and can't be removed. Also something simply and light such as this... my usualy collar is leather, which I love, but heavy with the buckle (it doesn't lock) and is thick and makes my neck and throat ache... but it is beautiful. I would adore something like this... and I am quite sure that your brat will. That's the perfect thing for heightening a subbie's submission and making ehr feel safe, protected and very much loved.
I love your new toys... yes do practice with the crop but you know you can't do too much damage if you start slow and easy... experiment with the marks it leaves... looking forward to pics! Look out, brat!!! BTW - the crop is my Dante's favorite toy... and he wield it with stinging perfection. If you want any tips, you know how to find him, too, right? That's a beautiful collar. One that's simple enough to not get in the way when eg going to work or the gym. Perfect. I like your justification of spending lots of money on BDSM, in a post above. It is true that the average wedding costs that much (another reason why Sean and I are waiting) and I agree that a collaring gives more power and identity than any wedding vows could give.
